Who sends the message

Messages are sent by Service Hawk Systems LLC, doing business as ServiceHawk AI, on behalf of the local business you called. The text names that business so you know who it is from.

The exact words you hear on the call

Before the call ends, the assistant reads this out loud, word for word, and waits for your answer. The business name is the one you called.

Verbal opt-in script

“Before we hang up, I can text you a confirmation at this number. It is one message from Joe’s Plumbing, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP any time. Is that okay?”

Nothing is sent unless you answer yes. If you say no, or say anything unclear, the assistant drops the subject and no message goes out.

When a message is sent

You only receive a text if all of the following happened:

You called a business that uses the ServiceHawk AI answering service, from the phone you want the text on.
During that call, the assistant read you the script above and asked your permission.
You said yes.

If you were not asked, or you said no, no text is sent. We do not text people who did not call us first, we do not buy or import phone number lists, and we do not send marketing or promotional offers through this program.

What the message says

One message follows the call. It confirms the business has your request and that someone will follow up. A typical message reads:

“Thanks for calling Joe’s Plumbing. We have your request and someone will follow up shortly. One-time msg from Service Hawk Systems. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”

How often

Normally one message per call. If you call again and agree again, you may receive another. This program does not send recurring campaigns, newsletters, or broadcasts.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message and you will not receive another. We confirm the opt out and then stop. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at hello@servicehawkai.com.

Your number is used to send this follow up and to let the business you called reach you back. It is not sold, and it is not shared with anyone beyond the business you called. See our Privacy Policy.

Agreeing to the text is optional. The business will still take your call, book your job, and follow up by phone if you decline.
